Hand-printed in Leeds

I bought my first Adana back in 1988 and started printing linocuts on it that Christmas. After a few years working with two and three colour pictures for my Christmas cards, I discovered the magic of Photoshop and four colour separations, and I haven’t looked back…

In an attempt to imitate the mechanical reproduction of photographs, each image is separated into the four process colours – cyan, magenta, yellow and black – traced and hand-cut, and then printed on an Adana 8 × 5 press in my back room.

I am trying to increase my output to more than one item a year, and have started producing a few greetings cards, A3 silkscreen reproductions of some of my favourite Christmas designs and other original A3 silkscreen posters. If you’re interested in buying any of this stuff, email me here.
